Starring Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams, Viola Davis. It's 1964, St. Nicholas in the Bronx. A charismatic priest, Father Flynn, is trying to upend the schools' strict customs, which have been fiercely guarded by Sister Aloysius Beauvier. But change comes in the form of black student, Donald Miller. Suspecting that Father Flynn pays him too much attention, Sister Aloysius sets off on a personal crusade to expunge Flynn from the school, resulting in a battle of wills which threatens to tear apart the community.
